Serves as Novartis’ lead legal advisor for public procurement, government contracting, tenders, and institutional healthcare business in Mexico. Provides legal guidance on procurement regulations, contracts, risk assessments, disputes, investigations, and litigation. Partners with Compliance, Public Affairs, Market Access, Sales, Finance, and Procurement teams to support compliant government participation, patient access initiatives, procurement governance, and healthcare policy engagement.

Manage statutory financial reporting and external audits across Latin American countries. Coordinate financial statement preparation, audit planning, statutory amendments, and final reports. Assess IFRS versus local GAAP differences, support tax accounting and deferred tax calculations, perform ledger reconciliations, prepare accounting position papers, and provide technical accounting guidance to finance and record-to-report teams. Collaborate with tax stakeholders and external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate financial reporting.

Collaborate with suppliers, contract manufacturers, production, quality, regulatory, and cross-functional teams to support clinical studies, registration, industrialization, and commercial manufacturing while providing technical guidance and engineering best practices.

Lead a team of operational controls analysts to execute monitoring strategy and control frameworks for patient support programs. Ensure consistent, accurate monitoring, enforce scope and governance, prepare escalations, support onboarding and analyst development, and ensure outputs tie to control objectives and evidence.

Architect commercial data and AI solutions for pharmaceutical omnichannel engagement and analytics. Define scalable reference architectures, integrate data platforms with AI, Martech, CRM, and marketing automation systems, and guide cross-functional delivery. Ensure secure, compliant data and AI lifecycles aligned with GxP, privacy, and consent standards while supporting personalization, recommendation engines, predictive analytics, and multi-market commercial use cases.

Lead Novartis Germany’s legal strategy and advise senior leaders on complex commercial, corporate, compliance, regulatory, privacy, competition, intellectual property, litigation, and pharmaceutical matters. Manage and develop the German legal team, oversee governance, external counsel, budgets, investigations, and enterprise legal risk. Translate regulatory developments into practical business guidance and contribute to German and international leadership teams.
