Responsibilities include customer engagement, platform enablement, training, ROI and business-case development, stakeholder management, solution expansion, and collaboration with Sales, Deployment, Product, and Engineering teams. The role requires translating customer strategic goals into technical solutions and measurable business outcomes, with regular customer and team travel in Japan and internationally.

Build and deploy engineering-grade digital models for Japanese utility clients by integrating GIS, LiDAR, and other data sources. Configure platform projects, create dashboards, resolve model inaccuracies, support technical delivery and pre-sales, and collaborate with product and engineering teams on platform improvements and Japanese localization. The role requires customer-facing communication in Japanese, global collaboration in English, mentoring, and occasional travel to customers and international offices.

Build geospatial predictive risk models using LiDAR, GIS, terrain, and weather data to simulate utility-grid risks, including wildfire and extreme-weather impacts. Develop spatial data pipelines, integrate diverse datasets, establish spatial QA/QC standards, translate risk metrics into investment insights, collaborate with utility GIS teams, and mentor others in data science and analytics.

Transform utility, geospatial, LiDAR, GIS, and asset data into accurate digital twin models of electricity networks. Support platform deployments, configure models using Neara’s schema language, perform QA/QC, build reports and dashboards, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve deployment processes and tools.

Leads customer success for strategic electric utility accounts, overseeing enterprise software deployments from pilots through long-term adoption and value realization. Manages a team of Customer Value Architects and Forward Deployed Engineers, advises utility executives, establishes ROI and governance frameworks, oversees technical workstreams, and partners with Sales, Product, and Engineering on implementation, risk mitigation, roadmap feedback, and expansion opportunities.

Build customer ROI and business cases, translate technical capabilities into business outcomes, deliver training and workshops, manage stakeholder relationships, and advise on workflows and change management.
