Build and lead production AI systems as Jobber’s founding AI engineer within the Office of the CEO. Responsibilities include architecting internal AI platforms, working with LLMs, retrieval and agents, ensuring trust, permissions, security and reliability, embedding AI into company workflows, evaluating build-versus-buy decisions, running rapid proofs of concept, and setting technical standards. The role partners closely with executives and teams across the company.

Own the strategy and execution for Jobber Supply, connecting supplier catalogs, pricing, materials management, job costing, and purchase orders. Build customer understanding, define product vision and roadmap, prioritize opportunities, manage supplier partnerships, and drive cross-functional delivery. Monitor product metrics across adoption, revenue, and engagement while balancing immediate improvements with long-term bets. The role requires zero-to-one product leadership, commercial judgment, customer research, partner influence, and collaboration across Business Development, Sales, Success, Marketing, and Engineering.

Engage with at-risk customers through inbound and outbound retention calls, scheduled value sessions, and consultative conversations. Diagnose churn drivers, recommend tailored product solutions, improve feature adoption, and protect recurring revenue. Partner with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Billing teams to identify churn trends and improve customer experience. Success is measured by save rate, retention, and long-term customer outcomes.

Engage at-risk customers through inbound and outbound conversations, diagnose churn causes, conduct value sessions, and recommend tailored product solutions. Own retention outcomes, recurring revenue protection, and customer success while collaborating with Support, Product, Billing, and Customer Success teams. Identify churn trends, share customer insights, and contribute to improvements in product adoption, onboarding, and customer experience.

Manage and coach a team of sales representatives, improve sales performance and processes, monitor targets and forecasting, recruit and onboard employees, deliver training, collaborate cross-functionally, and shape the Expansion function through data-driven strategy and execution.

Build and optimize high-performance marketing websites across Next.js, React, Sanity, WordPress, PHP, and Twig. Lead A/B and multivariate experimentation, CRO infrastructure, accessibility, SEO, component libraries, and AI-assisted development workflows. Set technical standards, mentor developers, collaborate with CRO, analytics, design, and marketing teams, and improve experimentation velocity, statistical integrity, site performance, and AI-search readiness.

Own and grow a roster of influencer brand partners, negotiate contracts, manage partnership spend, and drive measurable customer acquisition. Develop strategies to improve partner performance, forecast results, analyze channel data, and turn successful experiments into repeatable team processes. Collaborate across marketing, public relations, legal, and sales, while coaching peers and protecting brand reputation. The role is based in Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo, with occasional North American travel.

Drive organic demand and AI visibility through AEO/GEO experiments, off-site content, community platforms, and emerging discovery channels. Own prioritization, experimentation, monitoring, and scaling across Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, forums, and AI search surfaces. Measure citation frequency, share of voice, sentiment, leads, trials, conversions, and revenue while partnering with SEO, content, creative, product-led growth, PR, and community teams to build Jobber’s off-site organic growth playbook.
