Own supplier lifecycle activities (onboarding, renewals, exits), enforce SLAs, run performance reviews, mitigate delivery and compliance risks, optimise spend/licensing, and produce governance reporting while partnering with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Security and Product & Technology stakeholders.

Design, build, and operate scalable backend services and data pipelines for investigative journalism. Maintain production data workflows, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS). Collaborate with journalists and product teams to turn messy, unstructured data into queryable datasets, improve observability, and mentor junior engineers. Identify AI opportunities and build reusable tools that scale one-off investigations into newsroom-wide capabilities.

Provide administrative and legal-document support across Legal, Compliance and Company Secretariat. Tasks include preparing and checking contracts, maintaining minute books and records, supporting GDPR requests, administering legal technology and user accounts, coordinating meetings, onboarding/offboarding, supplier and invoice processing, and driving legal operations improvements and automation.

Support back-office contract fulfilment and administrative tasks for FT Professional customers globally: process fulfilment requests, grant client access, manage HUB queue, investigate account issues, produce operational and KPI reports (Salesforce), coordinate with internal teams and agencies, and assist on ad hoc projects.

Pre-qualify and nurture leads for the Business Development team through outbound calling and email, respond to inbound/webchat inquiries, book appointments, record CRM activity, gather testimonials, and provide weekly reporting. Actively prospect (30+ calls/day), contact decision-makers, and support field sales to build pipeline and hand off qualified opportunities.

Process and maintain supplier records, validate and index invoices, resolve payment issues, perform reconciliations, secure approvals, update financial workbooks, manage incident RCA and assist with process documentation and special projects.
