Lead integration, maintenance, and testing of heterogeneous hardware and software control systems for quantum computers. Manage infrastructure (HIL, containerized services, network hardware), automate provisioning/orchestration, integrate DevOps/CI-CD pipelines, implement monitoring/alerting, enforce access and lab best practices, and support incident response and root cause analysis.

Design, architect, and deliver complex optical and opto-mechanical systems for neutral-atom quantum computers across R&D, productization, and maintenance. Collaborate with physicists and R&D, troubleshoot at headquarters and customer sites, advance engineering practices, and enable transition of scientific advances into manufacturable products.

Lead photonic and optoelectronic component tapeouts and build AI-driven development pipelines for quantum computing hardware. Responsibilities span device design, simulation, layout, testing, system experiments, foundry collaboration, PDK integration, and automation of engineering workflows. The role partners with multidisciplinary engineering and quantum science teams to accelerate photonic chip development and integrate components into fault-tolerant neutral-atom quantum systems.
