Supports security monitoring, alert triage, vulnerability management, access reviews, endpoint and network control validation, policy compliance, documentation, security awareness, governance and risk assessments, and audit readiness. The intern works under supervision in a regulated aerospace and defense environment and contributes to NIST 800-171 and CMMC compliance activities.

Support development of lithium-ion battery packs for spacecraft through electrical and structural analysis, battery test hardware development, qualification testing, PCB bring-up, battery assembly, CAD modeling, and collaboration with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams. This is a 12-week, on-site internship in Redondo Beach, California, with exposure to the full spacecraft development lifecycle.

Develop full-stack software enabling spacecraft command, telemetry, and control. Build web applications, APIs, automation tools, telemetry-processing systems, dashboards, and backend services supporting mission operations and ground testing. Write reliable, tested, maintainable code and collaborate with flight software, GNC, and mission operators. This is a 12-week, on-site internship in Redondo Beach, California, with possible overtime.

Supports the mechanical design and development of precision optical hardware for spacecraft, including lens barrels, telescope structures, mounts, baffles, flexures, gimbals, and pointing mechanisms. Converts optical requirements into manufacturable, alignable designs and creates CAD models, drawings, tolerance analyses, GD&T, BOMs, interface documents, assembly procedures, and test fixtures. Collaborates with optical engineers through design, build, testing, and flight qualification.

Propulsion Engineering Intern will support spacecraft propulsion component and system development. Responsibilities include owning development tasks, collaborating with design, testing, and manufacturing teams, validating hardware performance, resolving technical issues, and producing hardware, analyses, and documentation. The 12-week, on-site internship requires hands-on experience with fluid or mechanical systems and foundational knowledge of fluids, thermodynamics, heat transfer, mechanics, and materials. Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or Excel is preferred.

Supports guidance, navigation, and control analysis, testing, and flight operations for spacecraft. Responsibilities include developing simulation models, characterizing on-orbit GNC performance, testing real flight hardware, automating analysis and testing, and writing robust flight software. The intern collaborates with software and propulsion engineers while contributing to mission analysis and spacecraft development.

Design, implement, and maintain spacecraft flight software and ground software deployment environments. Develop CI pipelines for build, testing, and deployment; troubleshoot hardware-in-the-loop systems; automate software testing, data collection, and result analysis; and support monitoring and continuous integration releases. The internship is onsite in Redondo Beach, California, and may involve overtime.
