The intern will assist the gateway site manager and tech staff in maintaining operational gateways, following procedures and reporting results.

Provide advanced technical and project support for Globalstar Gateway systems: troubleshoot incidents, analyze operational data, validate systems, optimize network performance, create documentation, train staff, and support operations during repairs and downtime to maintain SLA uptime.

Lead systems engineering for new LEO satellite development and post-launch operations. Validate vendor designs, perform antenna pattern and digital beamforming analyses, assess payload impacts on power/thermal and system capacity, and support cross-functional vendor integration and operations.

Define NTN RAN requirements for a LEO satellite constellation, support link budget and air-interface capacity studies, participate in vendor evaluation and selection, define bearer services, collaborate with developer partners and product management, and support 3GPP-based SATCOM system development and testing.
