The Staff-level Propulsion Engineer will design, integrate, test, and maintain rocket propulsion systems, perform analyses, and communicate with teams to support hypersonic vehicle development.

Lead technical strategy and execution for hypersonic air vehicle programs as the top technical authority. Integrate multidisciplinary engineering (aero, propulsion, avionics, structures, controls), manage risk and certification, support test planning/execution, staffing, proposals, and customer engagement to deliver flight test data and program success.

Create, maintain, and configuration-manage technical and operational documentation, build templates and enterprise document/knowledge-management tools, ensure ITAR compliance, train staff, evaluate/documentation tools, and support other writers to standardize documentation across the company.

The Technical Writer will create and manage technical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations while collaborating with various stakeholders and using specialized authoring tools.

Lead cross-functional efforts to identify, mature, and transition emerging hypersonic and aerospace technologies into customer-funded programs. Drive capture activities, develop solution architectures and product roadmaps, align opportunities with strategy and engineering, support proposals and customer engagement, and coordinate transitions into program execution.

Lead enterprise tax and treasury for a mid‑size aerospace/defense contractor: oversee tax strategy, compliance, ASC 740, tax audits, IPO readiness, treasury operations, rolling cash forecasts, banking relationships, and cross‑functional financial controls to support rapid growth and public‑company transition.

Lead preparation and review of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), ensure GAAP and SEC compliance, coordinate external auditors, conduct technical accounting research, implement new accounting standards, manage SOX documentation, oversee EPS and stock-based compensation calculations, and support financial reporting to management and the Audit Committee.

Design, integrate, test, and support Flight Termination Systems (FTS) and Autonomous Flight Safety Systems (AFSS). Coordinate with range safety, develop hardware-in-the-loop, contribute to flight test planning, perform subsystem testing, manage risk, support procurement and design reviews, and communicate progress to engineering leadership.

The Payload Systems Engineer leads integration of hypersonic vehicle payloads, ensuring mechanical, structural, and materials requirements are met through collaborative planning and testing.

Manage the Mechanical Design Section, providing technical guidance, supporting personnel development, recruiting, and ensuring compliance with policies while leading projects on ground and flight mechanical systems.
