Implements systems engineering designs and proof-of-concept solutions in lab and development environments. Configures, installs, tests, and supports network hardware, operating systems, and infrastructure. Performs release and change validation, Tier 4 incident analysis, root-cause investigations, modernization, automation, Zero Trust integration, and continuity/disaster recovery engineering. Maintains network standards and manages engineering changes through ERB/CCB governance and ServiceNow. This is a fully onsite federal role requiring a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Supports the Department of the Air Force cybersecurity program and CISO by advising leadership, developing enterprise cybersecurity policies and programs, applying NIST and RMF standards, analyzing cybersecurity trends, engaging authorizing officials and assessors, and briefing senior military and government stakeholders. The role requires expert cybersecurity knowledge, strategic judgment, strong communication skills, an active senior-level certification, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Lead FedRAMP and NIST-based cloud security assessments, validate authorization packages and security controls, develop remediation recommendations, and guide clients through security authorization activities. Manage project schedules, resources, client expectations, and delivery timelines while maintaining security documentation. Mentor junior consultants, facilitate client interviews and working sessions, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and applicable federal security requirements.
