Drafts, reviews, and negotiates commercial agreements throughout the contracting lifecycle. Maintains contract templates, FAQs, and CLM records; advises business partners on legal matters; delivers training; and identifies opportunities to improve legal service efficiency through process optimization, automation, legal design, and technology. The role collaborates across departments and may require occasional domestic or international travel.

Drafts, reviews, negotiates, and manages commercial agreements across EMEA. Provides risk-based legal advice, supports contract lifecycle activities, develops templates and playbooks, trains stakeholders, and improves contracting through automation, legal technology, CLM tools, and AI-enabled solutions. The role collaborates with legal and business teams across multiple jurisdictions and cultures.

Manage accurate and compliant Japan payroll operations, including employee inquiries, social insurance, benefits, retirement payments, PTO, attendance, overtime, vendor processing, statutory reporting, and payroll data in Workday. Coordinate with HR, Finance, Benefits, vendors, employees, and government agencies. Support audits, reporting, forecasting, payroll accounting, process improvements, and system or vendor transitions.

Provides daily administrative support for the Liverpool site, including EHS training coordination, meeting organization, travel and expense bookings, purchase orders, invoicing, catering, stationery, and ad hoc site duties. Supports other Site Administrators during absences and assists with general coordination activities.

Provides legal support across EMEA, leading standard-form contract preparation, negotiation, and finalization. Advises commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Procurement, manufacturing, employment, corporate governance, compliance, and dispute-related matters, with particular support for pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Partners with regional and global legal teams and business stakeholders to harmonize templates, optimize contracting processes, and deliver pragmatic legal advice in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Leads global tax reporting, accounting, forecasting, provisioning, governance, and transparency activities. Owns the OneSource tax provisioning platform, drives automation and process improvements, and ensures compliance with Pillar Two and Country-by-Country Reporting requirements. Partners with global Finance and Tax teams, oversees tax disclosures and Board reporting, supports strategic tax initiatives, and provides leadership on emerging international tax developments.

Provides administrative, operational, and coordination support to Engineering and Maintenance leadership. Responsibilities include meeting and event coordination, onboarding, procurement and financial transactions, reporting and workforce metrics, internal communications, newsletter and digital content management, travel and visitor logistics, documentation, and cross-functional workflow support.

Manage CSL’s EMEA import-export trade compliance program across multiple legal entities. Oversee customs brokers, export controls, HS and ECCN classification, customs valuation, origin and preference determination, permits, duty mitigation, recordkeeping, audits, risk assessments, and regulatory changes. Lead regional cross-functional teams, monitor compliance metrics, manage SAP GTS master data and screening processes, support government audits, and implement process improvements and duty-saving initiatives.

Supports Japan finance leadership through business partnering, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting, dashboards, and executive presentations. Coordinates financial inputs across markets and FP&A teams, maintains data quality, improves reporting processes, and provides insights for commercial decisions, risks, opportunities, product launches, and other initiatives. Builds stakeholder relationships across Finance and Commercial teams.

Supports EMEA total rewards programs covering compensation, benefits, health, risk, pensions, wellbeing, renewals, budgeting, compliance, and regional harmonization. Analyzes market trends, utilization, costs, and program outcomes; prepares dashboards and insights; coordinates vendors and internal stakeholders; supports employee inquiries, communications, statutory compliance, annual renewals, and special projects. Requires English and German fluency and familiarity with Workday.
