Lead development engineering for chip-on-carrier and package/module assembly of high-power CW lasers and related optoelectronic devices. Work hands-on with contract manufacturers to optimize performance, yield, and integration. Collaborate cross-functionally, analyze reliability/test data using statistical methods, and perform thermal/thermomechanical modeling to troubleshoot and improve production and product quality. Lead foundry-facing process integration for silicon photonics and advanced packaging: coordinate process development, audits, yield and failure analysis, SPC-driven data analysis, CAPA, DFM/DFY, process characterization, NPI and technology transfers, and supplier quality metrics to improve yield, reliability, and manufacturability across multiple foundry platforms.

Own commercial success and lifecycle of a product line: drive bookings, revenue, pricing, forecasting, NPI governance, and cross-functional execution. Partner with Sales and customers to develop opportunities, create multi-year product and revenue roadmaps, and present strategy and performance to senior leadership while ensuring EHS and applicable quality standard adherence.

Install, qualify, maintain, and optimize photolithography equipment in a semiconductor fab. Drive yield, uptime, and process stability; troubleshoot and repair tools; partner with process engineers; manage vendors and tool metrics; write purchase requisitions; implement TPM; work in a cleanroom and follow EHS and ISO quality standards.

Support and improve MOCVD epitaxial production of GaAs/InP optoelectronic devices through sustaining engineering: analyze characterization data, adjust recipes to maintain yield, apply SPC/DOE, and collaborate with production and R&D to support 24/7 manufacturing.
