Leads systems engineering activities across the full system life cycle, from concept through retirement. Interacts with government stakeholders on technical issues, communicates with program personnel and executives, and ensures the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables. Responsibilities may cover ISO/IEC 15288 technical, project, enterprise, and agreement process areas, including requirements, architecture, integration, verification, risk, configuration, quality, acquisition, and supply processes.

Provides enterprise infrastructure system administration, including configuring and maintaining Linux, Unix, and Windows systems; managing virtual servers with VMware; troubleshooting network components; and improving reliability and performance. Develops network designs, diagrams, bills of materials, capacity plans, risk assessments, certification and accreditation documentation, and IA metrics. Collaborates with network, storage, and server teams to design solutions and resolve complex technical challenges.

Leads testing and evaluation activities across software and hardware systems. Designs test frameworks, manages testing resources, ensures process quality, develops test cases and documentation, supports Linux troubleshooting and administration, and coordinates with government stakeholders. The role drives risk management, testing innovation, configuration management, CI/CD practices, and automated testing while serving as a primary liaison for contract execution.

Manages configuration baselines, configuration items, change control boards, audits, version-control processes, and configuration management plans across developmental and operational HPC systems. Advises review boards, supports quality assurance, improves request-for-change processes, and applies configuration management throughout the system life cycle. Requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and substantial configuration management experience or equivalent education and experience.
