Develops and implements internal and external communications supporting Vitalant’s mission and brand. Responsibilities include analyzing communication needs, creating and editing content, managing campaigns and projects, coordinating schedules and content calendars, advising stakeholders on messaging and channels, evaluating campaign metrics, and protecting organizational reputation. The role also improves accounts payable processes, supports ERP and EDI implementations, ensures policy and GAAP compliance, and performs ad hoc financial analysis.

The Senior Accountant supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, tax filings, and audit preparation. The role analyzes financial transactions and variances, identifies accruals and adjustments, supports financial system updates, and drives process improvements. Success requires strong accounting expertise, analytical and organizational skills, proficiency in Excel and financial systems, and effective collaboration across the organization.

Leads national major-gift fundraising for Vitalant by identifying and cultivating donors, managing a 100–125-prospect portfolio, securing gifts, developing proposals, coordinating donor experiences, maintaining database records, and tracking revenue and engagement goals.

Designs, implements, secures, and supports scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. Leads cloud architecture, upgrades, performance optimization, standards, security policies, monitoring, cost management, and infrastructure projects. Partners with stakeholders and vendors, supports mission-critical systems, evaluates emerging technologies, and drives cloud automation, reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
