Develop, prototype, integrate, and test Python-based software for missile warning/tracking missions. Contribute to containerization, testing, deployment, and provide technical guidance to team members while supporting DoD programs and maintaining high software engineering standards.

Develop and maintain GitLab CI pipelines, automated testing suites, and test environments using Kubernetes and Helm. Execute tests across environments, review test engineering artifacts, conduct performance and risk analyses, complete trade studies, and maintain compliant test documentation. The role supports cloud-based software processing OPIR sensor data for missile warning and other national defense missions. This is an on-site position in Boulder, Colorado, requiring U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD security clearance.

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD/DevSecOps pipelines and deployments for containerized applications. Manage deployments to dev/test/prod, implement security scanning and version promotion, maintain Kubernetes/EKS environments, troubleshoot releases, and ensure cybersecurity protocols are followed.

Design, develop, and sustain distributed, containerized microservices and real-time data pipelines. Collaborate with scientific users, ensure scalability and reliability of messaging systems, lead Agile practices, mentor engineers, champion testing and documentation, and support program risk reduction and deployment.
