Trainee learning management of small driver fleets and non-traditional shifts. Responsible for load assignment, DOT compliance, driver and carrier relations, routing and monitoring freight, yard and equipment oversight, administrative tasks (payroll, invoicing, reporting), and customer service. Will be trained to improve fleet efficiency, safety, and profitability while supporting operations and resolving service issues.

Learn to manage small driver rosters and non-traditional shifts, ensure DOT compliance, assign and monitor loads, support fleet operations, perform administrative duties (payroll, invoicing, reporting), work with drivers/customers to resolve service issues, and support safety and maintenance activities.

Provide clerical and administrative support for customer freight operations: book loads, enter orders, schedule pickups/deliveries, trace and monitor freight in transit, handle customer inquiries, and maintain records and documentation.

Responsible for contacting prospective customers, conducting lead generation, managing accounts, and implementing customer solutions. Must travel to meet clients.

Prospect and generate new business with high-transportation-spend customers through cold calling, networking, and on-site meetings. Own assigned accounts, define opportunity strategy, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, coordinate internal teams for implementation, monitor account health and KPIs, and drive revenue growth.

The Capacity Procurement Representative negotiates rates, manages freight, and ensures timely delivery using the Carrier360 platform while maintaining relationships with carriers.

Negotiate carrier rates to meet load expectations and margins, tender loads and manage freight via the Carrier360 platform, monitor shipments, verify carriers, communicate service issues internally, and collaborate with teams to ensure timely, safe, and efficient transportation solutions.

Coordinate a small group of carriers/independent drivers to plan, route, monitor, and deliver freight safely and on time. Build carrier relationships, manage inventory and assets, perform administrative tasks (payroll, invoicing, reporting), resolve service and mechanical issues, and support yard and maintenance coordination across varying shifts.

Trainee learns to manage small driver rosters and nontraditional shifts, ensuring DOT compliance, safe and timely freight movement, load assignment, driver training and coaching, yard and fleet oversight, KPI reporting, basic payroll and invoicing tasks, and customer-facing issue resolution to support efficient, profitable fleet operations.
