Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing seismic data, researching fault structures, and developing seismicity models. Qualifications include a PhD in Seismology or Geophysics, knowledge of earthquake frequency parameters, experience with statistical methods, and excellent communication skills. Experience with Python, GIS software, and C# programming is desirable. Travel may be required.

The Risk Analyst at KCC will gather client requirements, set up RiskInsight software, analyze and summarize client data, and test new releases of the software. The analyst should have a bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, or physics, experience with data-intensive computer models, and proficiency in Microsoft tools.

The Flood Engineer will work on developing advanced catastrophe reference models and collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop building, contents, and time vulnerability models for both inland and coastal flood perils. The engineer will also conduct research, compile documentation, and conduct model sensitivity and validation tests.

Conduct literature surveys of geohazards related to earthquakes and building vulnerability to earthquakes, collect and analyze loss data regarding earthquakes, perform validation tests on model loss estimates, prepare technical documents and presentations related to scientific models, and conduct post-event damage surveys for natural disasters.
