Design and implement a durable, highly available (5-6 nines) distributed workflow execution platform. Lead architecture, integrate AI/ML for automation, solve distributed locking/timers/determinism, ensure observability, and collaborate with product teams to support large-scale, long-running workflows.

Lead architecture and implementation of Tier-1 fulfilment systems handling real-time order planning, optimization, inventory allocation, and network cost management. Write and review production Kotlin/Java code, ensure low-latency solver integration, drive reliability and observability, collaborate with Product and Data Science, and mentor engineers to scale systems and prevent incidents.

Design, build, deploy, and maintain large-scale workflow platform infrastructure (e.g., Temporal, Netflix Conductor). Ensure 99.995% reliability, capacity planning, benchmarking, monitoring/alerting, production incident response, and collaborate to make the platform extensible for high-throughput, low-latency backend services.

Provide legal guidance on AI-powered product features, conduct company-wide AI reviews, partner with engineering/product/security/privacy, communicate complex legal and technical concepts, and build scalable AI governance and compliance processes.

Lead enterprise IT SOX strategy and execution across engineered systems. Own program roadmap, metrics, and operational excellence. Drive automation and AI-enabled tooling for control monitoring, partner with senior engineering and IT leaders, assess cloud-native and distributed-system controls, and scale IT risk management and compliance observability.
