Provides L2/L3 application support and DevOps engineering for mission-critical Treasury and Money Market systems, including Findur and MMO. Owns availability, performance, monitoring, incident resolution, disaster recovery, automation, CI/CD, and operational resilience. Partners with business, infrastructure, risk, finance, and vendors; manages vendor governance; supports application inventory and data taxonomy initiatives; and contributes to agile delivery, secure solution design, and continuous technology improvement.

Develop and maintain machine learning models and AI applications, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, training, debugging, deployment, and production monitoring. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable AI/ML solutions. Apply cloud development, containerization, APIs, microservices, and LLM techniques such as tokenization, RAG, and reinforcement learning. Supports Bank Negara Malaysia’s government relations function by monitoring political and economic developments, advising on stakeholder engagement, coordinating ministerial and parliamentary engagements, drafting responses, and facilitating internal communications services. The role manages relationships with public stakeholders, supports policy-alignment initiatives, develops briefing materials and engagement campaigns, and provides relationship-management support to internal departments. Strong stakeholder management, policy analysis, communications, project management, and English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency are required.

Leads enterprise information security policy implementation, risk governance, compliance monitoring, risk reporting, and thematic reviews. Develops and maintains security risk frameworks, policies, tools, and processes; assesses information asset data and incident records; monitors threats and vulnerabilities; advises risk committees and senior management; and promotes information security awareness and risk culture across the Bank.

Supports sourcing and contract management activities, including RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiations, contract renewals, strategic procurement agreements, documentation, and compliance readiness. The role also promotes best procurement practices and helps achieve cost savings, cost avoidance, and sourcing SLA objectives.

Manage application support operations for critical banking applications, ensuring system availability, performance, incident resolution, and business continuity. Lead a large technical support team, oversee service providers, monitor SLAs and risk indicators, coordinate application support initiatives, and communicate with senior management and business stakeholders. Provide technical guidance, manage deployments and escalations, maintain compliance with IT policies, and evaluate technology and support processes for continuous improvement.

Supports the Procurement Committee Manager by advising stakeholders, coordinating and reviewing procurement committee documentation, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, tracking tender progress, and maintaining sufficient committee membership. The role also requires strong English writing skills and understanding of sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and contracts.

Provides legal opinions and practical advice on central banking, financial markets, regulatory, governance, contractual, enforcement, compliance, and emerging technology matters. Drafts legislation, reviews contracts, promotes legal awareness, manages legal risks, and collaborates with government agencies, regulators, external counsel, and internal stakeholders. Participates in committees, taskforces, and projects while supporting the Bank’s mandate and protecting its legal interests.

Lead stakeholder analysis and gather, analyze, and document end-to-end business requirements. Develop business cases, recommend buy vs. build, advise on resilient secure scalable IT solutions, identify risks, and align IT implementations to business objectives within a banking environment.
