Lead systems engineering for autonomous battery-electric rail vehicles. Define system needs, architecture, requirements, interfaces, trade studies, and roadmaps; decompose requirements across engineering disciplines; manage traceability; develop verification, validation, integration, and compliance plans; lead design reviews and FMEA; and guide testing, integration, reliability, and safety improvements across hardware, firmware, software, and railroad control systems.

Develop and test embedded software for autonomous rail vehicles using bare-metal and RTOS-based systems. Implement communication protocols, state machines, and command/control functions primarily in Rust. Integrate and debug hardware-software interfaces, write unit and integration tests on hardware test stands, and contribute to code reviews, documentation, and engineering improvements.

Design, build, and operate scalable MLOps infrastructure for data ingestion, distributed training, deployment, CI/CD, experiment tracking, and monitoring across cloud R&D and production.
