Design and validate circuit solutions for Graphcore processor systems: create schematics, define layout constraints, run bring-up and lab validation, debug prototypes, and drive designs to production readiness across cross-functional teams.

Lead development and deployment of system-level test (SLT) hardware and software for AI processors. Drive SLT workstreams from requirements through production readiness, develop test boards and automation, perform characterization and reliability screening, lead failure analysis and yield learning, collaborate with DFT, OSATs, and manufacturing, mentor junior engineers, and support production ramp and vendor engagements.

Lead post-silicon bringup and validation for high-performance AI chips. Develop and debug bare-metal C/C++ tests on FPGA/emulator and deploy on first silicon, build Python automated test frameworks, analyze failures, improve test infrastructure, and collaborate across teams to characterize and stabilize silicon.

Lead architecture and design of power delivery from grid to chip for data center AI systems. Define roadmaps, specify rack- and board-level power hardware and firmware, drive vendor engagement, ensure reliability/efficiency, develop prototypes, validate designs, resolve complex hardware/firmware issues, and ensure industry compliance.

Manage demand forecasts and material plans for lab equipment, prototypes and consumables. Coordinate with Engineering, R&D, Procurement and Operations to ensure timely sourcing, inventory readiness, and supplier commitments. Analyze shortages and supply risks, perform scenario analysis, and support NPI, prototype builds and engineering projects.

Develop and maintain Flying Probe and ICT test programs for circuit card assemblies, deploy test solutions with manufacturing partners, analyze test data to improve coverage, yield and stability, troubleshoot PCB and test issues, and collaborate with product test, diagnosis and manufacturing teams to owner test solutions through resolution.

Lead system-level manufacturing test strategy for PCBA, blade and rack systems. Define, deploy and maintain test platforms and diagnostics, solve complex failures, partner with hardware, software and manufacturing teams, and mentor engineers to improve product quality and test processes.

The role involves validating AI chips through designing tests, collaborating with teams, debugging silicon, and developing automation frameworks.

Develop and deploy PCB assembly test solutions (flying probe, ICT, in-circuit and functional test) for NPI through mass production. Lead test platform development, debug complex design-test-manufacturing issues, support external manufacturing partners, and drive yield and continuous improvement using electronic test equipment and root cause analysis.
