Oversee insurance schemes, facilities, portfolio placements, and strategic insurer relationships across the South East. The role negotiates capacity, pricing, coverage, service, and commercial terms; identifies opportunities to consolidate business; develops new placement solutions; monitors arrangement performance; coordinates insurer engagement; and serves as the senior escalation point for complex placement and capacity issues.

Provide high-level administrative support to consultants across employee benefits products. Manage policy memberships and insurer liaison, maintain CRM and records, ensure GDPR and FCA compliance, handle office operations and documentation, and travel occasionally for training or meetings.

Develop and retain commercial insurance clients by sourcing new business, preparing quotations, renewals and MTAs, placing cover across commercial lines, maintaining insurer relationships, meeting FCA requirements, and delivering sales and service targets.

Lead regional QA for retail broking, driving quality, governance, complaint and breach management. Provide leadership to local QA teams, align regional activity with national QA strategy, collaborate with compliance, analyze service data to improve customer outcomes, and report regional QA performance to senior leadership.

Manage and grow an existing commercial insurance portfolio from the Rotherham office. Develop new business pipeline, add introducers, advise on quotations and renewals, expand client coverage, ensure documentation and FCA compliance, hit income and retention targets, and collaborate with broking, claims, underwriters and management to meet business objectives.

Work with business users, developers and project teams to design and execute test plans, perform functional/regression/integration/UAT testing, manage defects, validate insurance product and policy administration functionality, ensure data integrity, support test automation initiatives, and produce test documentation and quality metrics.

Manage commercial insurance client relationships, achieve new business and renewal targets, generate and act on leads, prepare broking notes, negotiate with underwriters, expand accounts through cross-selling, and ensure high levels of customer service and accurate documentation.

Handle commercial motor fleet new business: quote and bind cover, convert inbound/outbound enquiries, liaise with insurers and clients, process mid-term adjustments, prepare market presentations, cross-sell products, manage calls and data entry, maintain training records, and suggest business improvements.

Manage month-end close, prepare and post GL journals, reconcile balance sheet accounts, produce P&L analysis, support regulatory returns (FCA RMAR, ONS, VAT), assist audits, maintain controls, and drive finance process improvements within an insurance environment.

Handle renewals and provide new quotations for business clients, manage client relationships to meet retention targets, negotiate terms, recommend additional products, liaise with insurers/underwriters, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver excellent customer service.
