Plan, execute, and oversee downhole fishing operations during drilling, completion, and workovers. Retrieve stuck equipment, perform section and casing milling, troubleshoot, maintain fishing tools, liaise with customers and crews, produce reports, train junior engineers, and support sales and product improvements to minimize NPT and ensure safety.

Support engineers by performing routine engineering tasks under close supervision, including reviewing plans, basic calculations, permit writing, computer modeling, inspections, shadowing operations, and participating in project work and company networking events.

Drive machine shop business and rentals growth by identifying opportunities, managing key customer relationships, negotiating contracts, issuing quotes, tracking sales metrics, and coordinating with operations. Oversee production floor activities, staffing, quality, equipment maintenance, logistics, and safety while providing customer support, resolving complaints, and feeding product insights to development.

Lead mechanical design, analysis, testing, and lifecycle support of drilling and hoisting equipment. Produce calculations, FEA models, BOMs, and documentation. Ensure standards compliance, drive design reviews and improvements, support manufacturing, supply chain, field service, and sales, perform root-cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers through product validation and deployment.

Lead advanced mechanical and structural CAD design for new and existing drilling equipment. Produce production-ready 3D models and detailed drawings, manage BOMs/ECNs, apply GD&T, mentor junior designers, coordinate with manufacturing and suppliers, and support product lifecycle and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Design, implement, deploy, and support control systems for drilling rigs. Perform integration and acceptance testing, troubleshoot PLC/SCADA/VFD systems, provide technical support and training, document systems, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Support development and administration of global corporate insurance and risk management programs. Manage insurance renewals, multi-line claims (reporting, development, settlements), procure insurance and surety bonds, coordinate service providers, assess reserves, generate loss histories, support risk-reduction policies and audits, and assist the Director of Risk Management on strategic initiatives and special projects.

Provide CAD and technical document support to Engineering, Operations, and Marketing. Create and maintain 2D/3D drawings, maintain drawing standards and technical databases, perform scanning/archiving, support field projects and onsite drafting, and uphold QHSE and quality procedures.
