Manage and modernize lab operations: design systems and automations (including integration with the Chorus AI Assistant), oversee budgets and grant post-award operations, maintain HR and financial dashboards, coordinate onboarding and visas, support proposals and communications, supervise a part-time assistant, and drive continuous improvement across finance, HR, facilities, and events.

Maintain databases, perform complex data pulls and audits, build dashboards, coordinate data transfers with vendors, and develop SOPs to improve data collection and workflows. Lead DDRI technical research team, manage engineers and students, establish software development best practices, oversee internal computing and cluster resources, liaise with faculty on research, define technical standards and project evaluation criteria, mentor staff, direct code review and ensure scalable, robust components across cloud, databases, web apps and ML work.

Provide administrative and clerical support to research faculty: manage calendars, meetings, travel and event logistics; handle recruitment administration; process purchase orders, invoices, and reimbursements; prepare announcements, agendas, minutes, reports; support special projects and provide back-up assistance to other faculty or staff.
