Develop, test, deploy, and maintain research-focused software and data-intensive algorithms. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to build scalable, reusable solutions, support faculty/postdocs/students, manage multiple projects, and improve software quality, testability, and fault tolerance. Work independently on design, architecture, and implementation.

Design, build, deploy, and operate Python-based full-stack and cloud-native services enabling agentic middleware and distributed workflows for scientific research. Collaborate with domain scientists, lead architecture and technical direction, ensure compliance, present results, and drive AI/ML and data infrastructure initiatives.

Build, maintain, and architect backend services and APIs (primarily Django, secondarily .NET) integrated with a React front end. Design scalable data models, improve system architecture, support CI/CD and cloud deployments, mentor engineers, and collaborate across product, design, and stakeholders to ensure reliable, well-tested production systems.

Co-teach a 2-day immersive leadership curriculum for CPD supervisors, delivering established modules on emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, communication, and strategic problem solving. Facilitate interactive exercises, mentor participants, attend orientation and professional development, and collaborate with CPD and University of Chicago staff and partner facilitators.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot simulation technologies (manikins, task trainers, VR, A/V, software); provide technical and operational support during sessions; perform equipment maintenance and repairs; travel to off-site locations; support simulation-based education and data/inventory management; participate as embedded actor and contribute to quality improvement and administrative tasks.

Manage day-to-day hybrid office operations and front desk; handle vendor and building contacts; support program logistics for events and participant travel; process reimbursements, invoices, and financial reconciliation; create operational processes and special reports; coordinate leader calendar and project support.
