Leads compensation and benefits programs for a higher education institution, including salary structures, executive compensation, 403(b) retirement plans, health and welfare benefits, wellness programs, compliance, vendor relationships, union negotiations, and employee communications. Manages and mentors compensation and benefits leaders while partnering with Finance, IT, Legal, and HR leadership on program implementation, policy, budgeting, and change management during a 4–6 month interim consulting engagement.

The Board Liaison manages governance operations, Board and committee meetings, communications, records, onboarding, engagement, budgets, vendors, and reporting. Reporting to the CEO and CFO, the role supports board effectiveness, executive priorities, fundraising initiatives, compliance, and strategic coordination. The position requires strong project management, writing, organization, confidentiality, virtual meeting, Microsoft Office, CRM, and board technology skills, with periodic travel for meetings and retreats.

Maintains accurate financial records and supports daily accounting operations, including recording transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, invoicing, payment processing, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, tax documentation, cash-flow monitoring, and compliance. The Bookkeeper also organizes financial files and collaborates with accountants and auditors. The role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, strong organization, Excel proficiency, and the ability to work independently.
