Lead the design, implementation, verification, characterization, and debugging of RF, analog, mixed-signal, and digital IC sub-blocks within receiver, transmitter, and PLL subsystems. Analyze circuit non-idealities, evaluate system performance, document results, test designs in the lab, and define production test requirements. The role requires expertise in RF and mixed-signal circuits, SerDes, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, CMOS device physics, and FinFET layout.

Develop and test embedded C/C++ software for DOCSIS home gateway SoCs in real-time operating systems. Collaborate with architecture and silicon teams, work across hardware interfaces, kernel modules, operating systems, and applications, and solve system-wide networking challenges. The role includes Linux kernel and IP stack development, networking software using TCP/UDP and IPv4/IPv6, AI-assisted software development, project leadership, and mentoring other engineers.

Lead end-to-end physical design for complex SoCs and digital blocks, including floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, timing closure, STA, IR/EM, power integrity, and DRC/LVS sign-off. Develop P&R automation using Tcl, Python, Perl, and shell scripting; support ECOs and post-layout optimization; collaborate with RTL, STA, DFT, verification, and architecture teams; and mentor junior engineers.

Design and develop power management ICs from specifications through production, including switching converter architectures, analog circuit blocks, chip architecture, modeling, layout supervision, design reviews, post-silicon debug, system characterization, and productization support. The role collaborates with system, layout, test, operations, and applications teams while ensuring product reliability, yield, and performance.

Develops advanced packages and PCBs for communication SoCs, performs signal and power integrity simulations, optimizes high-speed interfaces and power distribution networks, and conducts time- and frequency-domain analysis. The role covers SerDes, RF/mm-wave, 5G, wireless, and optical communications products. Responsibilities include electromagnetic modeling, lab measurements, package development, and cross-functional collaboration with systems, IC design, layout, and test teams.

Provides system applications engineering support for optical transceiver products, including customer software integration, debugging, technical presentations, and design-win support. Develops and tests API drivers, firmware, reference designs, and Python-based ATE software. Reproduces and resolves customer issues, supports product definition and roadmap planning, prepares technical documentation, manages evaluation kits, and collaborates with sales, FAE, marketing, and engineering teams. Requires expertise in optical transceivers, high-speed interfaces, firmware, lab instrumentation, and customer technical support, with up to 30% travel.
