Senior accountant responsible for complex accounting across a multi-entity dental organization: journal entries, reconciliations, month/quarter/year-end close, intercompany and consolidations, fixed assets/ASC 842, internal controls, audit support, financial analysis, mentoring junior staff, and participating in system implementations and automation initiatives to ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for multiple dental practice entities. Prepare and post journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements; analyze P&L variances; maintain GL accuracy; assist audits; improve processes and internal controls; collaborate with operations, billing, payroll, and AP/AR teams to ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.

Research and interpret complex U.S. GAAP issues, prepare technical accounting memoranda, support financial statement and footnote preparation, coordinate with auditors, and assist with implementation of new accounting standards and special transactions.
