Maintain and evolve the C++/Qt application and infrastructure driving in-house production Functional Tester (FCT) platform. Modernize large legacy codebases, ensure test reliability, and convert raw test runs into production data. Work close to hardware with embedded Linux (Yocto), ARM cross-compilation, serial/SSH device control, Python tooling, CI/CD (GitLab), Docker, and code-quality tooling.

Own and evolve a hardware-in-the-loop CI/CD pipeline that builds Yocto/Torizon images and validates them on an on-prem board farm. Work spans server deployment, pipeline orchestration, job dispatch, device control, systems administration, observability, and release-gating reporting to ensure reproducible, fast build and test cycles.

Design, verify, and support embedded hardware products end-to-end: system design, schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM maintenance, hardware bring-up, V&V (EMC, shock/vibration, electrical), and long-term product/customer support. Maintain Altium libraries/workspaces, collaborate with product managers and software teams, and optionally create technical content and customer-facing materials.

The Developer Experience Engineer will enhance user experience for Toradex solutions by creating documentation, demos, and automating support, engaging with customers, and promoting the products.
