As a Senior Fluid Systems Engineer at Rocket Lab, you will lead fluid system design, provide guidance to team members, and coordinate with various engineering teams to ensure system functionality and performance.

Lead design, analysis, testing, and integration of stage fluid/plumbing systems between tanks and engines for the Neutron launch vehicle. Manage requirements, mentor peers, set standards, and collaborate across propulsion, structures, and operations to ensure reliable, reusable vehicle performance.

Lead and manage test site operations at NASA Stennis, owning test infrastructure and high-cadence engine testing. Supervise engineers and technicians, develop program plans, budgets and schedules, manage contractors and supply chain, improve test capability, and ensure team safety and site administration.

Design, implement, verify, and test FPGA firmware for Xilinx and Microchip FPGA/SoC devices across spacecraft avionics. Define requirements, create firmware and documentation, run module-to-system test campaigns, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate firmware with software and hardware systems.

Perform trajectory design and analysis for launch vehicles and spacecraft, including orbital propagation, rendezvous, station-keeping, maneuver planning, collision avoidance, mission design support, simulation tool development, and real-time mission operations and anomaly response.

Lead sourcing and procurement for major satellite subcomponents: issue RFQs/RFPs, negotiate contracts, manage supplier selection and performance, mitigate supply risks, drive cost reductions, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure on-cost, on-quality, on-time delivery.

Support and enhance Rocket Labs LN ERP for global manufacturing and supply chain: provide application support, design and deploy ERP solutions, enable LN Cloud migration, maintain global business process standards, and partner with operations and engineering teams to improve ERP-driven manufacturing and supply chain performance.

Perform tracking, navigation, trajectory planning, maneuver design, and collision avoidance for Earth, lunar, and interplanetary missions. Develop and analyze ascent, orbit insertion, orbital maneuvers, rendezvous, and station-keeping; support mission design, launch windows, delta-V budgets, contingency planning, and real-time operations. Interface with flight software and GNC, produce trajectory data products, contribute to simulation tools, and support anomaly response and post-launch analysis.

Implement, administer, and operate cloud and on-premise infrastructure (VMware, Kubernetes, Linux, Windows). Manage upgrades, OS deployment, SCCM packaging, configuration management, automation, backups and storage. Lead infrastructure project deployments, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and create automated software delivery and configuration processes.

Create high-quality branded visuals across digital, print, events, merchandise, and vehicle livery. Develop concepts, manage production with vendors, support motion/video, maintain design systems and asset libraries while ensuring brand consistency.
