Supports the actuarial department by collecting and cleaning data, performing calculations for model development, and providing general actuarial assistance. This is a full-time, on-site position in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, supporting senior-level stakeholders and departmental operations.

Leads organization-wide IT audits, including planning, fieldwork, control evaluation, deficiency reporting, and final presentations to senior leadership. Develops IT audit strategies, manages audit team members, researches control frameworks and compliance requirements, supports external auditors, and prepares working papers. The role requires strong knowledge of IT controls, governance, risk, compliance, accounting, data analysis, communication, leadership, and prioritization, with five or more years of relevant experience.

Processes incoming premium payments for life and annuity products, administers premium drafts, issues refunds, performs basic accounting transactions, reviews suspense and restricted-policy entries, and responds to customer inquiries while following department policies and compliance requirements.

Supports pricing, product design, experience studies, assumption development, actuarial modeling, valuation, reserve calculations, regulatory filings, and automation for life insurance and annuity products. Collaborates across departments on product launches while progressing toward actuarial credentials and examinations.

Processes life insurance and annuity applications, enters data into workflow systems, reviews applications, supports policy issuance and funding, responds to agent and internal inquiries, and assists with reporting, quality, testing, and special projects.

Provides actuarial support for a life insurance company by analyzing and validating data, using and validating actuarial models, reviewing assumptions and outputs, supporting peer presentations, and assisting actuarial and cross-functional teams. The role also requires studying for Society of Actuaries exams and developing knowledge of actuarial standards, regulations, insurance products, and company systems.

Leads and develops the Business Analyst team, establishes embedded BA practices and standards, partners with senior stakeholders, and drives strategic transformation. The role oversees coaching, career development, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with Quality Assurance and technology teams to improve analysis and solution development.
