Provides administrative and operational support to the Legal Department by maintaining legal records, tracking claims, litigation, deadlines, accruals, contracts, invoices, and due diligence activities. Prepares documents and reports, coordinates meetings and schedules, communicates with internal and external stakeholders, manages confidential information, and supports legal projects with changing priorities.

Processes and verifies retirement benefit applications, researches participant service and eligibility information, updates pension records, scans documents, responds to participant and union inquiries, requests supporting documentation, and prepares benefit-related correspondence while protecting sensitive personal and health information.

Processes accounts receivable activities for assigned trusts, including COBRA and self-pay payments, refunds, cash receipts, deposits, contribution reports, reconciliations, delinquency audits, and month-end corrections. Requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of Level 1 accounts receivable experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Supports the Director of Client Relationship in managing fund-management client accounts, including client and vendor communications, board meetings, compliance calendars, contracts, financial reports, presentations, and issue resolution. Coordinates with internal departments, clients, government agencies, unions, attorneys, consultants, auditors, and vendors. The role also supports participant engagement, invoice processing, regulatory monitoring, and multi-state travel while progressively assuming greater responsibility.

Processes COBRA and self-pay payments, refunds, cash receipts, contribution reports, deposits, and contracts. Reconciles payments and reports, researches discrepancies, handles billing inquiries, performs delinquency and payroll audits, and balances month-end reports. The role requires customer communication, accurate financial processing, data entry, and compliance with plan and company guidelines while handling protected information.

Performs month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account and bank reconciliations, accruals, financial statements, revenue summaries, and audit schedules. Investigates discrepancies, supports internal accounting controls and compliance, manages account funding and cash transfers, prepares management reports, and files required tax and regulatory forms. The role also responds to branch and organizational accounting inquiries.

Performs month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, revenue summaries, accruals, and audit schedules. Investigates reporting discrepancies, monitors account funding, supports internal accounting controls, prepares tax and regulatory filings, and responds to financial reporting inquiries. Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least one year of accounting experience.

Analyzes system enhancements, bug fixes, data files, reports, queries, and procedures; writes requirements for minor software changes; tests program updates; coordinates with vendors and clients; supports implementations; provides technical support, training, and problem resolution; and documents processes. The role requires attention to detail, analytical and communication skills, database knowledge, and familiarity with project management methods.

Supports client relationship management for assigned benefit fund accounts, coordinating client, vendor, trustee, government, union, and internal communications. Prepares meeting materials, minutes, financial reports, contracts, compliance calendars, correspondence, and presentations. Assists with board meetings, participant engagement, vendor management, issue resolution, invoices, and expense reporting. Requires strong organization, communication, professionalism, Microsoft Office proficiency, and willingness to travel regularly across multiple states.
