The Data Platform Architect is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data platform infrastructure and architecture within Groupon. This role involves understanding business requirements, selecting appropriate technologies, and developing scalable and reliable data platforms to enable data ingestion, storage, processing, and analysis. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure data platform availability, performance, and security while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for EMEA and Australia roles, identify and attract skilled candidates, collaborate with hiring managers, manage recruitment enablement, enhance candidate experience, stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technologies.

Responsible for preparing financial statements, footnote disclosures, and MD&A disclosures. Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. Research and implement new accounting guidance. Mentor and develop junior staff members.
