Groupon is a marketplace where customers discover new experiences and services everyday and local businesses thrive. To date we have worked with over a million merchant partners worldwide, connecting over 16 million customers with deals across various categories. In a world often dominated by e-commerce giants, we stand out as one of the few platforms uniquely committed to helping local businesses succeed on a performance basis.

Groupon is on a radical journey to transform our business with relentless pursuit of results. Even with thousands of employees spread across multiple continents, we still maintain a culture that inspires innovation, rewards risk-taking and celebrates success. The impact here can be immediate due to our scale and the speed of our transformation. We're a "best of both worlds" kind of company. We're big enough to have the resources and scale, but small enough that a single person has a surprising amount of autonomy and can make a meaningful impact.

We are searching for individuals with extensive experience in leading IT projects. Your role will encompass developing and implementing change management strategies, driving organizational transformation, and ensuring successful project outcomes. If you are a seasoned IT project leader ready to contribute to transformative initiatives, we want to hear from you! 🚀

What is our mindset?

  • We would compare ourselves to a sports team, where we strive to assemble the best team with the available resources.
  • While maintaining values like fairness, mutual support, and respect, we also focus on performance, aiming to build a top-notch organization capable of delivering excellent results quickly. Our culture is built on courage, ambition, and is strongly meritocratic, allowing the most capable individuals to grow rapidly.

  • Develop the product to ensure user satisfaction and meet business objectives, including creating roadmaps and business cases.
  • Define functionalities and new features. Seek new opportunities and inspiration from top players—how to scale the product, optimize it, which features to implement, etc.
  • Prioritize the best opportunities at any given moment and weigh their benefits against the required effort.

Requirements

  • Real experience with the role of Product Owner/Senior Product Manager or CPO from e-commerce, startups, or SaaS business.

  • Experience with task management systems, Google Workspace, and advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Time flexibility - you will need to be available after 17:00.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Startup mindset: Emphasis on simplification, focusing on completed tasks, and moving forward in short intervals, finding solutions, and quickly adapting to changing conditions.
  • Ambition to build something: The projects in our portfolio are large and long-term, offering the possibility of rapid advancement to a higher role or even moving to another company in the future.
  • Teamwork: We work in harmony, step by step, progressing together, helping each other, and recognizing that success will be shared.
  • Learning ability: You must be able to quickly adapt to project changes, communicate with different types of people, learn from mistakes, and come up with ideas.
  • Commitment and drive: We are looking for those who enjoy their work, are eager to learn, and aren't afraid to tackle large projects with significant impact.
  • Numeracy skills: Focused on results, able to evaluate your work and set incremental goals; using Excel and other tools will be valuable in our environment.
  • English proficiency: Most communication is in English, both written and verbal.
