Individual contributor responsible for the overall management, business development, analysis and monitoring of a book of business of the highest complexity. Recognized as the most senior level, technical expert in an underwriting specialty. Works within the broadest limits of authority requiring the highest degree of technical complexity and coordination. Develops specialized endorsement language for complex risks, determines appropriate pricing, and participates in underwriting policy and strategy development. Markets products and services, builds and maintains relationships, stays current on industry trends, mentors and guides junior underwriters, responsible for special projects and presentations.

Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and typically a minimum of eight years of underwriting experience.
