Manages day-to-day operation and delivery of certification and testing services in the assigned product group. Responsible for scheduling, assigning work, monitoring productivity, quality of work, equipment maintenance, and progress against goals. Manages employees, develops business plans, resolves customer issues, and ensures high quality and safe delivery of services within the product group.

Coordinates and delegates between regional offices to accomplish project objectives, responds to customer inquiries on national certification and regulatory requirements, ensures projects meet customer needs within time and budget constraints, keeps up-to-date on national certification requirements, and provides point of contact for CSA customers for national approval.

Responsible for ensuring operational and financial targets are met for the assigned group. Provides high-quality certification services meeting client's needs efficiently and effectively. Seeks training to improve competencies and safeguard the integrity of the CSA Mark.

Product Safety Certifier II responsible for independently managing certification projects, evaluating products against national/international standards, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements. Provides technical briefings, authorizes CSA Mark application, prepares testing documentation, reviews test data, and liaises with customers to ensure standards are met.

Provide high quality certification services by interpreting standards, making technical decisions, and managing projects efficiently. Ensure product safety and compliance with national/international standards. Maintain integrity of certification programs and support clients in problem-solving. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for successful project completion.

Under direct supervision of a Fully Qualified Certifier, completes simple certification projects. Makes assisted technical decisions based on knowledge, training, and experience to maintain the integrity of the CSA Mark. The Level I Certifier learns to apply their theoretical knowledge and limited practical knowledge and limited practical experience to resolve certification problems of a routine nature or with the guidance of a mentor for more complex problems.

The Instructional Designer (ID) is responsible for commercial product development for Education & Service’s learning products. The ID oversees the designing, development, QA, and maintenance of new or existing commercial learning products designed for CSA customers across various industries. Responsibilities include coordinating design, development, production, and maintenance of learning products, managing costs, identifying resources, providing guidance to subject matter experts, and ensuring course objectives are met.
