Lead Castle Trust Bank’s data and AI strategy, including data platforms, architecture, governance, analytics, business intelligence, and responsible AI adoption. Translate technical capabilities into commercial value, provide strategic insight to executives and the Board, modernize data capabilities, ensure regulatory compliance, and build a high-performing data function across engineering, governance, BI, and analytics.

Provides second-line compliance advice and constructive challenge across mortgage, consumer credit, savings, deposits, and ISA businesses. Reviews financial promotions, customer communications, products, policies, controls, and customer journeys for FCA compliance and positive outcomes. Responsibilities include performance monitoring and tuning, backup and disaster recovery, security and access controls, patching, incident resolution, database changes, recovery testing, automation, documentation, and collaboration with infrastructure teams and third-party providers. The role also supports Azure data services, deployment practices, and continuous improvement.
