Supports automation, robotics, and systems engineering projects within Moderna’s Applied Technologies team. Responsibilities include configuring and testing laboratory automation systems, executing experiments, troubleshooting, analyzing performance data, developing scripts and workflows, preparing technical documentation, evaluating prototypes, and presenting findings. The intern collaborates with engineers and scientists to improve reliability, throughput, usability, and scalability of technical development workflows.

Lead enterprise FP&A activities including consolidated budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance analysis. Partner with commercial, R&D, CMC, and G&A leaders to deliver management reporting, dashboards, and executive presentations, support month-end close, labor/benefits forecasting, scenario modeling, and process/tool improvements to enhance accuracy and scalability.

Support General Ledger and Fixed Assets accounting (prepaids, accruals, CIP, capitalization, depreciation, reconciliations), lead month/quarter/year-end close tasks, maintain SOX controls and audit readiness, drive automation/continuous improvement, partner cross-functionally, and support accounting analyses, capital project reviews, and system initiatives in a global environment.

Lead cost accounting activities for manufacturing including month-end close, inventory consolidation, standard cost cycles, process order settlement, variance analysis, overhead allocations, and reporting. Act as SAP S/4HANA cost accounting SME, partner cross-functionally to resolve issues, enhance reporting (Hyperion/EPM/Smart View/Excel), support controls and audits, and drive process improvements and automation.

Provide frontline shop-floor support for MES/SCADA/automation systems, triage and resolve incidents, perform structured troubleshooting, execute change-control activities, monitor system health, support compliance and maintenance, and mentor junior engineers to improve operations and reduce production impact in a GMP environment.

The Senior Product Manager will oversee Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance Systems, ensuring system reliability and compliance while driving innovation and product strategy.

Support, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Moderna's enterprise network across Canada/North America.
