Seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to focus on financial accounting and reporting for US GAAP close and local statutory matters for APAC revenue entities and sales offices. Responsibilities include daily accounting operations, month-end close activities, reconciliations, analytics, audit management, process improvement, and project handling. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration with 6+ years of experience in multinational companies or audit firms.

Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions. Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.

Lead and contribute to the development and optimization of head over coating processes for magnetic recording heads. Perform thin film characterization using advanced techniques. Apply statistical analysis and Design of Experiments to optimize processes. Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Stay updated on coating technologies and data-driven methods to improve processes.

Manage and review U.S. federal and state tax compliance, assist in tax examinations, plan and research tax matters, supervise tax department staff, stay updated on tax legislation and GAAP changes, and build strong cross-functional relationships within the tax department and external partners.

Responsible for external financial reporting, SEC filings, and technical accounting. Includes preparing financial statements, monitoring new accounting standards, and collaborating with various internal stakeholders. Manages complex accounting areas and audits effectively.

Oversee a group of Supplier Master Data Specialists in global locations, providing guidance, approving changes related to supplier banking, and resolving issues with internal and external clients. Responsible for maintaining vendor records, ensuring data quality, and supporting process improvements for procurement and accounts payable purposes. Collaborate with IT and Business on Master Data projects and ensure compliance with company and auditing requirements. Fluent in English, additional Chinese language preferred.

Responsible for new lapping process technology development, improving current process capability, working on Mechanical, Electrical, and Chemical Engineering tasks. Requires 3-5 years of experience in a development engineering role in HDD or Electronics industry. Must have good communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, knowledgeable in statistical software and hands-on experience with lapping processes.
