Manages and retains existing commercial and industrial waste-service customers within an assigned territory. Builds long-term relationships, completes contract renewals, addresses cancellations and pricing issues, and cross-sells the company’s full product portfolio. Uses Salesforce to document customer interactions, tracks retention and sales goals, partners with operations to resolve service issues, and represents the company at trade shows and community events.

Identifies and converts leads into profitable commercial, industrial, and recycling customers within an assigned territory. Manages finance talent and leads finance-related special projects across the Greater Detroit market.

Manages environmental waste projects at client sites, ensuring contractual delivery, regulatory compliance, health and safety, subcontractor performance, and profitability. Conducts inspections, waste characterization, shipping and documentation; develops recycling and treatment programs; provides reporting, regulatory guidance, training, and technical support. Partners with sales to develop compliant customer solutions, identify opportunities, and retain business while managing onsite resources and escalating issues.

Administers employee leave and disability programs, including vendor coordination, claims monitoring, file integration processing, data reconciliation, issue resolution, and employee support. Provides backup health and welfare benefits administration, coordinates with payroll and vendors, supports open enrollment, and manages inquiries through shared service channels. Ensures accurate records, timely processing, benefit continuity, and effective resolution of leave- and benefits-related issues.

Analyzes and resolves complex accounts receivable issues, maintains AR records, coordinates billing, processes lockbox items and refunds, and supports cash application. The role monitors AR metrics, improves processes, tests business requirements, supports billing systems, develops training resources, and serves as the liaison with third-party vendors and corporate teams.

Manages employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and termination recommendations. Advises managers and leaders on employment policies, legal compliance, and risk mitigation. Maintains confidential case documentation, develops employee relations policies and training, analyzes trends, and recommends proactive improvements while partnering with HR, legal counsel, and management.

Supervise and develop sales professionals through coaching, training, performance management, and hiring support. Monitor sales funnels, pricing metrics, customer retention, and goal achievement. Assist with business strategies, marketing plans, bids, customer solicitation, account management, and contract reviews. Maintain CRM data, prepare sales reports, identify customer needs, track market trends, and cross-sell waste and environmental services to commercial and industrial clients.
