The Underwriting Consultant at CNA in the Life Sciences sector is responsible for underwriting insurance solutions, managing risk, and achieving portfolio management goals. They must possess expertise in underwriting, portfolio management, and sales & distribution management.

Responsible for underwriting risk for both renewal and new business within limited authority. Handles underwriting analysis, endorsement requests, renewal book, and acts as a liaison within the branch. Executes pricing strategy, negotiates with external partners, and assists in marketing products and services. Acts as a resource on systems and workflows and keeps current on industry trends and regulations.

Responsible for underwriting risk for the underwriting lifecycle, handling endorsement requests, managing renewal books, resolving issues, documenting files, pricing strategies, negotiating with external partners, and serving as a resource for underwriting partners. Knowledge of Property and Casualty underwriting, strong time management and analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners.
