Manage multi-line ocean marine claims, including hull, personal injury, collision, Protection and Indemnity, brown water, and commercial marine liability claims. Apply knowledge of CML and Bumbershoot policies, independently manage caseloads, negotiate settlements, oversee litigation, and communicate with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. The role gathers and validates data, maintains tracking tools and documentation, coordinates cross-functional stakeholders, investigates discrepancies, and ensures accurate, timely reporting and compliance activities.

Supports the Environmental Underwriting Team by maintaining account clearance systems, performing ratings, issuing insurance documents, organizing underwriting files, preparing renewal submissions, maintaining business logs, and responding to broker inquiries. The role requires strong organization, accuracy, communication, proofreading, time management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Manages and grows a profitable portfolio of financial institution insurance risks across new and renewal business. Underwrites complex management liability exposures, including D&O, E&O, EPL, fiduciary, and crime and fidelity coverage. Evaluates governance, financial performance, capital structure, regulatory developments, and emerging risks. Leads client and broker strategy discussions, negotiates placements and renewals, maintains underwriting standards, develops relationships, supports product initiatives, and mentors team members.

Supports enterprise risk management across European insurance operations, including ORSA preparation, risk assessments, stress testing, KRIs, risk appetite monitoring, RCSAs, control reviews, incident analysis, remediation tracking, and Board-level reporting. The role provides independent second-line challenge, supports Solvency II compliance, operational resilience, outsourcing risk, audits, regulatory monitoring, and risk governance documentation. It also contributes to stakeholder engagement, risk culture initiatives, ESG assessments, and strategic project reviews.

Evaluates clients’ environmental risks through site inspections, loss control surveys, and technical reviews. Identifies environmental hazards, regulatory compliance issues, and pollution exposures; prepares reports and mitigation recommendations; advises clients on environmental regulations and risk management; supports underwriting, claims investigations, and pricing decisions; develops training materials; and maintains client relationships. The role requires extensive environmental risk, loss control, or environmental health and safety experience and involves regional or national field travel.
