Develops new-logo sales for Ryder’s contractual fleet management products. Builds and executes go-to-market strategies through digital, telemarketing, direct-mail, and in-person prospecting. Manages pipelines, opportunities, proposals, and prospect tiers in Salesforce and Seismic. Educates prospects on Ryder services, collaborates with sales teams to transition accounts and generate opportunities, supports customer onboarding, and completes related administrative tasks.

Participate in a 9–12 month logistics management training program covering on-the-job, structured, and team-based learning. Supervise daily logistics operations, coordinate employee schedules, track KPIs, collaborate with customers, promote safety and inclusion, analyze account profitability, prepare reports, and recommend process improvements. The role requires leadership, flexibility, strong organization, and willingness to respond to operational issues outside normal hours and relocate within a designated region after training.

Manages daily fleet and transportation operations, including driver and vehicle scheduling, dispatch leadership, route planning, compliance, safety, equipment maintenance, performance analysis, budgeting, and cost control. Recruits, trains, and develops drivers while addressing operational issues, monitoring turnover, improving efficiency, and ensuring adherence to transportation policies, government regulations, and safety requirements.

Drives continuous improvement across warehouse and transportation operations using data analysis, Lean methods, engineering tools, automation, and quality systems. Leads process mapping, Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, slotting, labor studies, facility layouts, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and CI projects. Coaches employees, develops transformation plans, supports certifications and start-ups, monitors operational metrics, and recommends supply chain improvements.

Assists with daily supply chain operations and account management, including leading direct reports, meeting operational goals, managing staffing and employee development, planning and scheduling, customer satisfaction, health and safety, and regulatory compliance. The role requires advanced logistics, manufacturing, production, regulatory, and Microsoft Office knowledge, plus support during critical customer disruptions.

Provides financial planning, forecasting, month-end close, variance analysis, branch performance analysis, and operational cost improvement recommendations. Partners with senior finance, logistics, sales, rental, accounting, and shared-services teams. Delivers financial training, supports Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits, researches billing opportunities, and reports recommendations to management.

Manage financial, operational, and employee aspects of multiple logistics accounts to ensure profitable retention and growth. Set goals, coach and develop staff, enforce safety and SOX processes, oversee KPI tracking and customer satisfaction, optimize staffing and overtime, implement location process improvements, and handle invoicing and revenue recognition.
