As a Senior Software Engineer - Data Platform, you will be responsible for designing and implementing reliable, scalable, and efficient data infrastructure. You will work cross-functionally to build data products that allow other teams to gain insights and ultimately improve Verkada products and customer experience. Additionally, you will lead projects from design to implementation and help grow junior engineers.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will architect, design, and develop projects to make Verkada's infrastructure reliable and cost-efficient. You will lead cross-team efforts, mentor team members, and establish engineering best practices. You will also provide technical support and align with product and organizational objectives.

Design, implement, maintain and improve Verkada’s video and audio streaming infrastructure. Ensure customers have the best streaming experience for both live and historical footage. Architect distributed real-time data connections between camera → cloud → browser. Write clean, maintainable, testable code.

Work cross-functionally with hardware team to develop camera features in C++ and Python.

As a Senior Embedded Engineer - Sensors, you will be responsible for building the software and firmware for the devices we ship to our customers. You will work closely with Product and other Engineers to develop the next generation sensor products. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. You will also have the opportunity to mentor other engineers and contribute to other parts of the stack if interested.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Verkada, you will be responsible for building the front end of our visual search experience and enabling the web UI to process computer vision data. You will also work cross-functionally to deliver Verkada's products to customers on-time.
