The Underwriting Consulting Director in Healthcare is responsible for managing, developing, analyzing, and monitoring complex underwriting risks. They work closely with senior management to determine pricing, develop underwriting policies, and maintain key customer relationships. The role involves marketing products, staying updated on industry trends, mentoring underwriters, and leading special projects.

Individual contributor responsible for the overall management, business development, analysis, and monitoring of a highly complex book of business in the underwriting specialty. Recognized as a technical expert in underwriting. Works with high degree of technical complexity and coordination under general management direction. Markets products, maintains agency relationships, and mentors less experienced underwriters. Requires advanced technical expertise, communication skills, analytical abilities, and leadership skills. Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight years of underwriting experience preferred.

Responsible for managing a complex book of business, developing pricing strategies, analyzing risks, and maintaining relationships with producers. Also involved in marketing, agency/broker relationships, and mentoring underwriters. Must have strong technical expertise, communication skills, and leadership abilities.
