Lead execution of legal technology roadmap, implement and govern legal systems, map and optimize processes, identify automation and AI use cases, support compliance and controls, partner with IT and stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across global legal operations.

Design, operate, and improve compliance processes, controls, and technology workflows for trade diversion, export/sanctions compliance, and third-party due diligence. Lead requirements gathering, SAP/GTS implementations, workflow and screening logic, reporting/dashboarding, stakeholder management, change management, and continuous process improvement to increase control effectiveness and program visibility.

Manage end-to-end eDiscovery operations for litigation, investigations, and compliance: intake, legal holds, preservation, defensible collection, processing, secure transfers, tool administration (Relativity, Purview), vendor coordination, SOPs, metrics, and workflow improvements across multiple matters.

Serve as fractional Chief Legal Counsel/General Counsel advising alternative asset firms and family offices on securities law, fund formation, regulatory compliance, contracts, transactions, governance, litigation and vendor relationships. Lead fund structuring, investor negotiations, regulatory responses, training, policy development, and special projects while managing outside counsel and legal budgets across US and international jurisdictions.

Provide executive-level secretarial and clerical support for capital habeas attorneys: file court documents, prepare and edit pleadings and correspondence, maintain calendars and case files, screen calls, process mail, and cover multiple attorneys as needed. Work is in-office, may require evenings/weekends, and supports post-conviction death-penalty litigation.

First legal hire responsible for building Logos Space's legal function: draft and negotiate complex commercial and government-facing contracts, manage legal due diligence for large fundraising rounds, establish contract templates and policies, advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance (spectrum, export controls, government procurement), and counsel cross-functional teams on IP and risk mitigation.

Review and evaluate two AI-generated legal responses for accuracy and client-readiness, provide written feedback to improve model behavior, and join onboarding and calibration sessions. Role is part-time (6–15 hours/week) and requires employment/labor law expertise, strong legal research and writing, and a U.S. law degree and license.

Provide legal and administrative support to the CEO, manage legal documents, ensure compliance with licenses, and coordinate communication.
