The Director, Legal Counsel will provide legal support for procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain, negotiating agreements and advising on regulatory matters.

Provide executive-level secretarial and clerical support for capital habeas attorneys: file court documents, prepare and edit pleadings and correspondence, maintain calendars and case files, screen calls, process mail, and cover multiple attorneys as needed. Work is in-office, may require evenings/weekends, and supports post-conviction death-penalty litigation.

First legal hire responsible for building Logos Space's legal function: draft and negotiate complex commercial and government-facing contracts, manage legal due diligence for large fundraising rounds, establish contract templates and policies, advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance (spectrum, export controls, government procurement), and counsel cross-functional teams on IP and risk mitigation.

Translate, edit, and proofread certified legal content from English into Japanese in XTM; perform terminology research and TM/glossary maintenance; implement SME and LQA feedback; flag legal-risk issues; collaborate in a multi-vendor environment and meet strict SLAs. Support Standard Legal projects as needed.

Review and evaluate two AI-generated legal responses for accuracy and client-readiness, provide written feedback to improve model behavior, and join onboarding and calibration sessions. Role is part-time (6–15 hours/week) and requires employment/labor law expertise, strong legal research and writing, and a U.S. law degree and license.

Lead and scale Juicebox's legal function, owning privacy/compliance, commercial and vendor contracts, financings, corporate governance, outside counsel relationships, and build scalable legal processes while advising founders and cross-functional teams.

Provide legal and administrative support to the CEO, manage legal documents, ensure compliance with licenses, and coordinate communication.

The Contracts Operations Coordinator will oversee contract management, compliance support, coordination across legal functions, and vendor management while enhancing legal workflows.
