As a Senior Data Engineer at Auger, you will build data systems to transform customer data into a unified ontology for analytics and AI workflows, ensuring data quality and managing the data lifecycle.

Designs, builds, and maintains enterprise lakehouse data pipelines, transformation layers, and data models. Develops scalable batch and streaming solutions using Spark, Kafka, and Flink; implements medallion architecture, data quality monitoring, and infrastructure as code. Partner with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and senior stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions using Python, SQL, dbt, data warehouses, Spotfire, and Power BI.

Leads enterprise data and solution architecture for an Air National Guard CDAO support effort. Defines data platforms, pipelines, models, integrations, semantic layers, access controls, governance, and technical standards across Azure, Databricks, Palantir, Power BI, and related systems. Oversees design reviews, CI/CD, testing, quality assurance, troubleshooting, scalability, documentation, and compliance with DoD security and data requirements. Serves as the primary technical liaison to government stakeholders and mentors engineering teams.

Performs GIS mapping, spatial analysis, and data management for pipeline design projects using ArcGIS tools. Collects, cleans, analyzes, and validates manufacturing data from Plex, ERP, MES, sensor, and inventory systems. Builds predictive models, automated reports, and KPI dashboards covering yield, OEE, scrap, inventory, production, and financial performance. Performs root-cause, variance, forecasting, and ROI analyses to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Maintains data pipelines, supports operational and financial planning, ensures accurate inventory and COGS reporting, and trains production personnel on data collection and dashboard usage.

Support users with business intelligence and OLAP tools for database queries, data extraction, and report generation. Review and optimize queries, help design and document systems, monitor and upgrade enterprise reporting tools, ensure front-end interoperability and security, and maintain metadata and production systems.
