Lead Riskified’s APAC business development team in Tokyo, driving expansion strategy, team development, strategic prospecting, and qualified sales opportunity generation. Partner with senior sales leadership, represent the company at industry events, research target industries and companies, leverage AI for scalable outreach, and build relationships across the payments and ecommerce ecosystem. The role requires people management experience, complex sales-cycle expertise, analytical thinking, commercial tenacity, and fluency in English and Japanese.

Lead Riskified’s APAC Business Development team and define regional expansion strategy. Responsibilities include managing and developing business development representatives, using AI to scale personalized outreach, improving prospecting efficiency, researching target industries and companies, partnering with sales leadership, representing the company at industry events, and building relationships across the payments industry. The role requires people-management experience in Japan or Australia, complex sales leadership experience, strong analytical ability, English fluency, and ideally Japanese fluency.

Design and implement global enablement programs for sales teams, ensuring training materials support revenue growth and retention. Analyze gaps, develop content, and deliver training while tracking program effectiveness.

Manage a portfolio of large enterprise merchants to maximize value, drive upsell/renewals, and align product capabilities with customer outcomes. Build executive relationships, use data to monitor account health, navigate complex deals and negotiations, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and customer retention.
