Responsibilities include analyzing adversary threats, developing countermeasures, integrating hardware and software, defining system requirements and architectures, and validating solutions. The role involves cryptographic algorithms, secure coding, operating system security, security protocols, and defense-in-depth solutions. Engineers may provide technical leadership and apply model-based systems engineering practices. This is a full-time onsite position supporting defense electronics and national security missions.

Supports Air Force Global Strike Command personnel with cybersecurity risk management and authorization activities for the Sentinel ICBM weapon system. Performs RMF lifecycle tasks, self-assessments, continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, compliance reviews, and maintains SSPs, POA&Ms, and other authorization artifacts. Leads ISSM projects and cross-functional teams, supports ATO and ATC efforts, analyzes security risks, and ensures compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Design, implement, and manage enterprise identity and access solutions across Azure and Microsoft 365. Configure Entra ID, hybrid identity, federation, Conditional Access, RBAC, entitlement groups, and Zero Trust controls. Monitor and respond to identity threats using Microsoft security tools, troubleshoot IAM issues, integrate identity protocols, and document architectures and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to meet business and regulatory requirements.

Leads systems security engineering across the full SDLC for mission-critical DoD programs. Defines security requirements, develops architectures, performs threat modeling and adversarial analysis, integrates security into DevSecOps pipelines, and leads RMF Assessment and Authorization activities. Authors security documentation, evaluates STIGs and security benchmarks, manages residual risks, mentors engineering teams, engages government stakeholders, and supports proposal development and technical reviews.

Provides day-to-day cybersecurity operations for Compass Call mission and support systems. Manages system security, access authorization, audit monitoring, security artifacts, RMF compliance, incident response, vulnerability management, malware detection, inspections, and training. Coordinates with cybersecurity leadership, government representatives, customers, and security personnel. The role is fully onsite at Davis Monthan AFB, requires rotational shifts, deployments to CONUS and OCONUS locations, and physical ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
