The Cloud Security Engineer will secure cloud infrastructure, implement solutions for systemic risks, and support internal projects using Kubernetes and service mesh technologies.

Collaborate with engineering, design, security research, and GTM teams to define, build, and launch capabilities. Lead and grow a team building automated GRC engineering solutions to scale commercial audit and compliance (SOC2, PCI, HIPAA, ISO). Define roadmap, build internal tooling to automate evidence collection, embed compliance into CI/CD and cloud-native infrastructure, and partner with security, legal, and engineering to operationalize a common control framework and improve audit efficiency through automation and metrics.

Design and implement platform-level security for Datadogs infrastructure and applications. Build secure golden paths, enable engineers to ship secure solutions, extend platform security tools, influence product security direction, and remediate systemic cloud and Kubernetes security risks.

Partner with Enterprise AEs to position and sell Datadog Security products (SIEM, CSPM, CWPP, cloud workload and container/Kubernetes security) across strategic accounts. Own the security sales cycle from discovery to technical close, evangelize to security leaders, co-sell with partners and AEs, and stay current on security trends and competitors to expand customer footprint.
